The Spurs finished this lockout shortened "Last Week of 2011/2012" Season at 50-16 tying for the best record in The Association with Los Bulls. The Charlotte Bobcats finished with a record of 7-59 setting the lowest win percentage in history of The Association at .106.
Former Bobcats Coach Paul Silas had enough of Boris Diaw's lazy ways and made sure the franchise waived Diaw on March 21st, 2012. On March 23rd, he was signed by the San Antonio Spurs.
Boris Diaw started Game 1 of the Western Conference First Round vs. The Jazz and is set to start Game 2 alongside Tim Duncan. He is playing well.
Paul Silas was fired by Bobcats Majority Owner Michael Jordan and GM Rod Higgins yesterday. Spurs coach Greg Popovich just won his 2nd Coach of the Year award.
The Spurs have won 4 NBA Championships and are going to have another great shot this year. The Bobcats made the playoffs once a few years back and may have even won a game.
Is Boris probably playing a bit harder on the Spurs? Yeah, most likely. Are the Spurs worried about having someone with the stink of Charlotte still on him? RC Buford can probably give a crap.
A tale of two Franchises (sorry if you thought this post was going to be all about Boris Diaw in his underwears).
