BLOCKBUSTER Trade #2!

Unfortunately, it appears as if The Green Team wasn't meant to be. Through some sort of finagling, though, The Denver Nuggets have landed Deron Williams! I'm not totally sure who the Nuggets gave up or why they wanted both Chancey Billups AND Deron Williams (and Ty Lawson to a lesser extent). But The Nuggs are going to be AWESOME!

Gil Zero: The Definitive Statement

Yes, that is a pre-game picture of Gil-Zero shooting guns and saying that he was just doing that touchdown dance from "Any Given Sunday". Yes, the picture above was taken before yesterday's game amidst all of the unloaded-gun-flashing madness. Yes, this afternoon Gilbert Arenas was suspended indefinitely from the NBA for his follies. And to get the DEFINITIVE STATEMENT on the entire situation, please read our Definitive NBA Statement Maker, Kelly Dwyer by clicking on those words "DEFINITIVE STATEMENT" up there. Or for those that are too lazy to move their mouse upward, just click HERE.

P.S. I sure am glad that the Warriors' rush-offer to Gil a few years back after Baron signed with The Clippers didn't happen. He would have no doubt shot Nellie.

The NBA's Great Eccentric

My favorite NBAer is back in the game and back in the news. Next year for Gilbert, my dear Nextians, will be awesome. Gil-Zero will be back with a vengance. If you haven't heard, Gil-Zero won't be blogging and based on his few games so far this season, he won't be taking his typical "quality" shots. But he will be leading a team of Antwan Jamison, Caron Butler and Andray Blatche (ha!) to a probable 6 seed in the East. And undoubtedly Gil will have a sweet low top basketball shoe with Adidas. Is Gil crazier than ever? Maybe he's actually chilled out and unsure of his abilities after being away from the game for so long? Regardless of where it's coming from, Arenas is the most fascinating player in the NBA. Check It:

D-League Dunk Contest: AWESOME

Before Dwight and Nate were busy putting on costumes, the NBA D-Leaguers threw down some impressive assed 'ish during their All-Star dunk contest last Friday in Phoenix. Take a look at this breakdown of the suspense and make sure to wait until the X-Mo part of each dunk's video clip. Needless to say, James White and Keith Clark were twice as entertaining as D-How and Nate Rob.

CHECK IT

Makes you wonder why the winner of the D-League dunk contest can't be the 4th contestant on Saturday night's NBA contest? Sure would beat what the "fan favorite" Rudy Fernandez puked up.

Raymond Felton to the Warriors? please no

I saw this article on yahoo sports. This would be the fuckin dumbest trade! The Warriors do NOT need another Guard, WTF! For young talent that they need to develop into good forwards. Does anyone else think this sounds horrible? Didn't Nelly already write this season off as a re-building year? Why fuck up the future to appease the true-point guard nay sayers? Monta will come back....not like he's a true point guard....but c'mon, Felton?! The 'cats brought in Augustin to take his spot, so he decided to play this year a little to stay on the floor......a LITTLE...... : (

Thu, Dec 18 The Bobcats and Warriors have had discussions that could send Felton to Golden State in a trade for Anthony Randolph or Brandan Wright, the Charlotte Observer reports.

Recommendation: Golden State has been searching for a pure point guard since they lost Baron Davis to free agency over the summer.
